Step 1: Accept Your Invite
Accept invite: Look for an email invitation or link to join a Studio.
Sign Up: Use the email address associated with the invitation to accept and join the Studio by creating an account using an email and password.
Explore Your Studio: After joining, you'll be in an empty Studio, ready to be set up and link with a Bridge.
Browser Support: Although there are no known issues across top browsers (Safari, Firefox, etc), we only officially support Chrome.
Step 2: Download Application
Using for personal use or to manage production or AV setups?
Download the desktop application onto a computer connected to the same local network as the cameras you want to control—often a shared computer located in your production venue or IT workspace.
Download the Application: While still in your web browser, locate the button in the center labeled "Link a Bridge" and follow the flow to download for Mac or Windows. You can also download the latest version here.
Install: Run the installer and complete the installation process.
Accept Permissions: A modal will appear requesting permissions. Please select follow the modal to grant permissions. If a failure occurs (e.g., due to firewall restrictions), restart the app to resolve the issue (this is a known bug).
Log In: Proceed to sign in to your account. If you are already signed into your account in the browser,
Step 3: Linking Your Bridge
What's a Bridge?
The Desktop application includes an embedded Bridge, unlike the browser version. The Bridge ensures seamless communication with your local network, enabling device discovery, video routing, and control across your devices. Once a Studio is linked with a Bridge, the Studio and its connected devices can be accessed anytime via your browser or desktop application.
Begin Linking: Click "Link a Bridge" in the center of the interface to open the Bridge tray.
Search for Devices: The system will scan for available agents (devices). Initially, this will typically include the computer you’re using.
Link Your Computer: Select "Link Device" to set your computer as the Bridge. This will then link and restart your Studio. Once complete, your Studio will push a notification letting you know the link was successful.
Step 4: Finish Setting Up Your Studio
Invite Team Members: Use the "Share" button to invite team members to collaborate in the Studio. You can set their permission and invite them using an open link, or directly via email. Invite them with an email if you want to lock the invite to a specific email address.
Set Up Your Organization: Add an organization name (e.g., your company name) and an optional logo.
Name Studio: Name your first Studio (e.g., "Los Angeles Test Studio" or "Conference Room 1").
Create Additional Studios: Use the top-left dropdown menu to create new Studios for different projects or teams. Each Studio can link to one Bridge.
Your Studio is now setup!
