If you've been invited to collaborate in a studio, either through email or a direct link, this guide will walk you through the steps to accept the invitation and start contributing to the studio based on your assigned role. Here's what you need to know to get started.
If You Were Invited via Email
Check Your Inbox:
Look for an invitation email in your inbox. If you can't find it, check your spam or junk folder to ensure it wasn't misfiltered.
Open the Invitation Email:
Click to open the email. You'll find details about the studio you're invited to and your assigned role (viewer, producer, or admin).
Accept the Invitation:
Within the email, there should be a link or a button that says something along the lines of "Join Studio" or "Accept Invitation." Click on this link.
Sign In or Create an Account:
If you already have an account, you'll be prompted to sign in. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one. Use the same email address to which the invitation was sent to ensure proper access.
Access the Studio:
Once signed in or after your account is created, you'll be directed to the studio you were invited to. Depending on your role, you may begin viewing sources, controlling production elements, or managing studio settings.
Use the same email address to which the invitation was sent to ensure proper access.
If You Were Invited via Link
Receive and Open the Link:
The studio owner or admin will send you an invitation link through email, messaging app, or another communication method. Click or tap on this link to proceed.
Review the Permissions:
The link will direct you to a page outlining the role you've been given and what permissions this role entails. It's important to understand your capabilities within the studio.
Sign In or Register:
Similar to the email method, you'll need to sign in to your existing account or create a new one if you don't have an account yet. Ensure you use the email address that was intended to receive the link if specified.
Join the Studio:
After logging in or setting up your new account, you'll automatically join the studio. You can now participate according to your role's permissions.
