Gridlines are invaluable tools in video production, offering visual guides that help in framing your shots with precision. This provides easy toggling between different gridline types to suit various framing needs. Here's how to use them:

Enabling Gridlines

  1. Access Gridline Options: Click on the gridline icons located at the top right of your canvas. Here, you'll find three different gridline types to choose from.

  2. Choose Your Gridline Type:

    • Rule of Thirds: Divides the frame into nine equal segments with two horizontal and two vertical lines. Ideal for balanced and dynamic compositions.

    • Crosshair: Places a single point of intersection at the center of the frame. Perfect for centering subjects or aligning shots.

    • Disabled View: No gridlines will be shown on the canvas. Use this option for an unobstructed view of your frame.

Utilizing Gridlines for Framing

  • Hover for Brightness: When you hover over the canvas, the gridlines will become brighter, making them easier to see against your video feed.

  • Precise Framing: Use gridlines to align elements within your shot, ensuring your composition is balanced and aesthetically pleasing.
